Where to get mountain horse wow

I really can't be too hard on Blizz though, it is nigh impossible to find a mount that worgen can actually ride gracefully or naturally. Same with helmets, there are some that worgen just cannot pull off.

It is easy peasy to get revered just by dint of doing beginning quests, then you head to Astrid Langstrump and get your mount as unexciting as the design is.

Great for those of us who do not want to run on all fours! Plus, as a shadow priest, my shadowyness makes the horse look way more awesome than it really is.

Also, as boring as the design is, I kind of like that you get to have a mountain pony, as it harkens back to The Hungry Ettin and I remember thinking at the time how it would be cool if you got to keep one as a mount when you finish the quest. Comment by Dharay When this came and Swift Mountain Horse I was a bit dissapointed it didn't look like a horse from Gilneas, that draft horse look. Comment by I really love this mount despite all the complaints that it looks dull. I mean, look at their faction bag Gilnean Satchel , the architecture of the Gilnean buildings, the muted dark colors the people dress in!

They are simple folk. Sure, they may look boring and old-fashioned, but it's the Gilnean style. This plain simple mount fits my worgen perfectly when I'm in human form.

They do not have saddles, and had slightly touched up model skins. This was changed with the launch of Battle for Azeroth , where the Mountain Horse model was completely swapped from the original unsaddled horses to the new high definition horse models without saddles.

They are still slightly larger than other horses and do not neigh. Death knights , paladins and warlocks are all able to gain mounts specific to their class and for paladins, faction. I won't go on as many have about how horrible and non-original another horse mount is. In fact, I can't help but think this is possibly a bad joke gone horribly wrong and on for too long. This just gives you a couple of extra mounts to count towards achievements, matching the other faction's. I guess they chose horses because it makes sense for Gilneans to ride horses.

I don't know why anyone would be jealous of the Goblin trike, that thing is hideous. You do not have to be exalted with Gilneas to get this mount if you are a Worgen. My Worgen got his at honored for 8 gold.

For those with coords, the vendor is located at 48, 21 in Darnassus. I don't know about that option.. Comment by pynkskyn Personally, I'm happy this mount is available. The vendor was a little surprising-- right outside the Howling Oak in Darnassus, off to the left, there's a little girl with the two horse types standing on either side of her.

There are some extra horses just frolicking around a bit farther off the path, ignore those.
