It makes you break into tears to see how much Jesus loves us and what he did to save us. The Passion of Christ is one of the best movies about Christ's crucifixion. It is accurate on how much Christ suffered, so accurate it is brutal and intense to see.

It depcits the crucifixion of Christ in a very disturbing way. It is spectacular and amazingly good even through all the intense moments, it still is amazing. I would not recommend your kids to see this movie; it'rs rated R for a reason.

But it is a movie everyone needs to see, a movie that is intense and brutal but yet it has emtional moments because of it.

It is rivetingly awesome; a movie that is not easily forgotten. But the violence is a bit to much. There is the guards capturing Jesus, the whipping, the bloody walk, and finally the Crucifixion. The devil is shown throughout the movie, and is depicted as a creepy white faced, hooded figure. During the whipping, Satan is shown holding a baby devil, that is equally creepy. Over all a great movie, and it truly shows what the Lord did for us, but it should only be seen by very mature tweens and up.

Fantastic film that all Christians must view, and I'm appalled that CSM says it has no role models or messages There's not much to say about it that hasn't been said, Passion of the Christ is a fantastic film that's as accurate as possible with my only nitpick being that the Romans in Judea may have spoken Latin, however it's also quite likely they spoke Koine Greek, which also happens to be what the New Testament was originally written in and its brutality best conveys just what Jesus went through for us.

Even if you're not a Christian, you have to agree that Jesus is a great role model for being tortured and killed for His beliefs and for us, Mary was a great model of a mother as she didn't abandon her son or look away when he was going through his darkest hour, and John, for being the only apostle to stand by the cross during His death and care for Mary when Jesus died.

While I think this should be shown to most people when they're around 14, it certainly depends on the kid, and if you think he can handle it before that, be my guest. This movie is not an exaggeration of it, if anything it is an underexaggeration since you can still recognize Jesus' face Jim Caviezel in the movie, whereas in the actual crusifiction you wouldn't have been able to recognize Jesus.
